Spring Break LEAP Camp - March 25th to 28th

Capital City hosted our first ever Spring Break LEAP Camp March 25th- 28th 2013. The theme of the camp was the Spirit of the Olympics. We had 21 one girls participate in the 4 day long camp. The athletes worked hard on their basics, conditioning, and new skills during their gymnastics portion of the camp. The girls competed in teams in a LEAP Physical Abilities testing on the last day of camp. The girls were separated into countries, made flags, hair ribbons and got their face painted to represent their teams! The girls watched gymnastics movies, made Olympic torches, went to see a sea-lion show and had a pizza party to celebrate their hard work! The girls also performed an Olympic themed group routine for a big audience at the end of camp (video below). It was a great week, and we hope to host more camps like this one in the future!
