Attn: Girls Attending Alberta Winter Games Trials
Capital City parent's who have a daughter trying out for the AWG please bring $40.00 cash to the Trials. There will be a mandatory meeting following the awards of each session for the parents of each team member. This meeting will address the registration procedure for team members attending the Alberta Winter Games in Spruce Grove in February. Parents of team members will need to fill out waiver forms and pay the $40 Alberta Winter Games registration fee at this mandatory meeting.
This fee will go towards offsetting the costs related to transportation, accommodation, meals, zone identification vests, medals, athlete entertainment, and sport competitions..

Massilia Cup
Our High Performance Junior girls Marisa Dick (14) and Brielle Wilchuck (15) competed at the prestigious Massilia Cup in Marseille, France from November 18-20th. For their first international competition the girls remained composed and had great results. Marisa finished 3rd on vault in finals competing against Russian world champion members! Her hard work paid off with a consistent all around finish of 14th and no falls! Brielle managed to work through a painful foot injury and stuck her beam routine and vault for an all around finish of 37th. Congrats girls!

Think Pink! Movie Night - Huge Success!
Thank you to all our competitive athletes and their friends who came out to support our Think Pink Movie Night. The event had a great turn out and we were able to sell a little over 100 tickets! Training on Remembrance Day Long Weekend
- Katie/Ovidiu's group - 9:00-1:00pm on Friday, November 11th and training will be cancelled on Saturday, November 12th
- Krystal's Pre Novice group - 1:00-5:00pm on Friday, November 11th and training will be cancelled on Saturday, November 12th
- Krystal's Older Comp group - 9:00-1:00pm on Friday, November 11th and training will be cancelled on Saturday, November 12th
- Taren's LEAP group - 10:00-1:00pm on Friday, November 11th and training will be cancelled on Saturday, November 12th
- Taren's Comp group - 1:00-5:00pm on Friday, November 11th and training will be cancelled on Saturday, November 12th

Pink Invitational Final Schedule

Sunday 10-10:30am, 1:30-2:00pm, 4:30-5:00pm
** Please bring our competition suit's pink scrunchie and ribbons to the Pink Invitational.
** It is important that all the girls attend the awards for Session 1 in our tracksuit. Awards for Session 1 are Friday at 11:35am in Gym A.
** TRAINING: There is no gymnastics club close to the Convention Center, except a University gym. We are not able to train at the University because of their recruiting rules. For all the girls that are in Philly On Thursday, Feb 23rd we will be going to a Cross Training Gym, that is in close walking distance from the Convention Center, to do some conditioning, stretching, and basics. Please meet us there at 2:00pm and we will be done around 4:00pm. Please provide your daughter with $10.00 for the Drop In fee. Please bring a training suit, or workout tank top and shorts. Shannon Miller is Coming to Pink!
Shannon Miller remains the most decorated American gymnast, male or female, in history. She is the only American to rank among the Top 10 all-time gymnasts and is the only female athlete to be inducted into the US Olympics Hall of Fame - twice! We are thrilled to have Shannon joining us for our Sunday sessions and know she will inspire all those in attendance.
National Anthem Singers Needed
Think you've got the pipes? We love to feature the vocal talent in the gymnastics community and need singers to perform the National Anthem at the Pink Invitational sessions. If you are a coach, judge, parent, gym owner, or gymnast and would like to be considered, please contact us at pinkinvitational@yahoo.com. We would love to hear a demo, too. Think Pink! Movie Night
A reminder about our Think Pink! Movie Night coming up this Saturday November 5th!! This fun evening is for ALL competitive athletes & their friends, and is an adult not required event!! All the proceeds from ticket sales for this event will be donated on behalf of our club to the Pink Invitational that 28 of our female athletes will be attending. Athletes are invited to come to the gym, bring a friend or two, for some fun gym time – and then to kick back on the mats, hang out, and enjoy a movie... projected onto the wall! Popcorn is provided! No limit on the number of tickets per family as well (minimum age is 6! Check out the link for more information. Think Pink Movie NightAlthough we will be selling tickets right up to the time of the event and at the door, it would be very helpful for planning purposes to know how many kids to expect! Please see the office when you are there next to purchase your tickets for your children and their friends. Looking forward to seeing you all out to the event.... and don’t forget to wear PINK!
