Saturday, November 5th Training Changes

There will be the following changes on Saturday, November 5th due to a training camp that some of our coaches will be attending:

• Taren's LEAP group - 10:00-1:00pm (normal time) with Teresa
• Taren's Comp group  - 2:00-6:00pm with Georgia
• Krystal/Katie's Pre Novice group - 1:00-5:00pm (normal time) with Teresa
• Katie/Ovidiu's group plus Taylor - 12:00-4:00pm 

Pink Invitational Team Photo

The 2012 Pink Invitational would like to offer teams the opportunity to unite in raising funds for women with
breast cancer. Each team that donates $500 or more, above the usual entry and associated meet fees, will receive a complimentary half-page team picture in the 2012 Pink Invitational program and will be entered in the Above & Beyond Team Challenge. All teams participating in the challenge will receive special recognition at the event, and the six teams with the highest donations will receive an award.


Capital City has agreed to be part of the Above & Beyond Team Challenge and Robin Marsden will be taking our team photo for the Pink Invitational program during training on Thursday, November 3rd.  We would love it if all 28 of our girls going to the Pink Invitational could be at gym on November 3rd with nice hair for the photo.  Thanks

Training on Halloween

Training on Monday, October 31st will be the following:

• Katie/Ovidiu's group- normal training
• Taren's group- 1:00-5:00pm
• Krystal's group - 1:00-5:00pm
• Georgia's LEAP group - training will be CANCELLED

Training Changes

There will be NO training for any girls on Monday, October 10th.  Have a great Thanksgiving!

Canada's Peng Peng Lee made AA Finals at Worlds!

Qualifications is over for the Women at Worlds.  Team Canada did great and came in 11th.  Teams placed 9th through 16th will move on to London "test" event from January 10th-18th.  Four of the eight teams going to the "test" event will qualify for London there.


Peng Peng Lee made All Around Finals (even with a fall on beam).  Women's AA Finals are October 13th.       

Good luck to our Capital City boys competing in the Men's Qualification tomorrow!  Bobby for Thailand and Brandon, Jackson, and Kevin for Canada.

The Pink Mitten Campaign

Save On Foods has $10.00 pink mittens and will only have them for the month of October.  The proceeds go towards funding breast cancer research, as well as education and awareness programs.
