Our women's program had
6 girls make Alberta's delegation to Nationals. Nationals was held at Carleton
University in Ottawa from May 26th
to 31st. Highlights from the week:

- Wed, May 28th – Sarah Nicholls competed as an Alberta's National Novice individual. Sarah qualified to all around finals. Alyson Arcand competed in the High Performance Junior category. Alyson qualified in 9th place to HP Junior AA Finals and qualified to Event Finals on bars and beam.
- Thur,
May 29th - Abigail Fuller and Chloe Harrison competed as
Alberta Individual Opens. They both
qualified to AA Finals. Raquel Tonn and Jordyn Sellin competed
on Alberta's National Open team. Our National Open team placed 2nd in the
team competition! Both Raquel and
Jordyn also made in to AA Finals. Alyson
competed in HP Junior AA Finals and placed 11th.
- Fri, May 30th – Sarah competed in National Novice Finals and placed 5th on bars and 13th AA. This was Sarah’s first nationals and we are so proud of her! Raquel competed in Open 16+ Finals.
- Sat,
May 31st – Abigail, Chloe, and Jordyn competed in Open 13-15
Finals. Jordyn placed 5th
AA and was 5th on bars, 8th on beam, and 5th
on floor. Abigail was 4th
on bars and beam. Chloe came 7th
on vault. Abigail also won the floor choreography award (for the 2nd year) out of all the
National Opens. Congrats Abi and her choreographer, Katie Castle! Alyson competed in Jr Event Finals and
finished 4th on beam and 6th on bars. Alyson competes against the top caliber of
gymnasts in the country and we are so proud of her outstanding results.
