Gym Power Results

Gym Power has come to an end.  Special thanks to the coaches, judges, and parents who volunteered to make this meet a success.  And congratulations to all the gymnasts!  


CCGC girls placed gold in 7 out of the 10 categories we were competing in!  Congratulations to our 1st place AA finishers:

Competition Highlights:

P2 Argo Session:

• Swanice, Olivia, and Hallie competed for their first time and did awesome
• Olivia, who just learnt her vault the week of Gym Power, competed two awesome handsprings

P3/P4 Session:

• Juliana made her handstand step down sole circle on bars
• Brooklynn did a beautiful vault and got 2nd on it
• Natalie and Cassidi competed their giant flyaway’s for the first time and tied 
• Catherine only competed on bars because of her knees.  Cat won bars and was almost a full point a head of 2nd place

Pre Novice/ P5 Session:

• Erin, Jordann, Alison and Sarah competed for the first time ever and did a great job
• Emma competed her pre-novice bar routine
• Kiana landed her front aerial first time competing it
• Diana competed her blind change
• Katie landed both of her tsuks on her feet
• Abigail hit her full start value on bars and had no stops or pauses
• Alex stuck her beam routine with her new side aerial and switch leap ½

National/ High Performance Session:

• Chloe competed a whole new bar routine
• Trinity hit all 4 events
• Brooke attempted her double front on floor
• Sam G. qualifies to compete for Elite Canada
• Sam W. catches her Hindorff and lands a Yurchenko 1/1
