Gym Power - January 24-26th

We hosted Gym Power on January 24th to 26th in our new facility.  The set up looked great and the competition was a great success.  Thank you to all the athletes, parents, and families who helped make Gym Power run smoothly.  We look forward to many more Gym Powers to come!

Here are some highlights from our athletes:

• P1 Pre-Argo: Jorja 1st on floor, 2nd on vault, and 3rd AA.  Andrea 3rd on floor. Isabelle M. 3rd on beam.
• P1 Argo: Kianna 1st on floor. Tegan 3rd on beam.  
• P2 Argo: Chloe C. completed as a 7 yr old (the only 2006 birthday out of 30 girls!).  Isabel F. 3rd on vault and 2nd on bars.  Adrienne 3rd on vault.
• P2 Tyro: Shane 2nd vault.
• P3 Argo: Ricki 3rd vault and bars, 2nd on beam, 1st on floor, and 1st AA.
• P3 Tyro: Olivia 1st on vault, 2nd on bars and floor, 3rd on beam, and 1st AA.
• P4 Tyro: Hudsyn 1st on vault, 2nd on bars and floor, and 1st AA. Emily A. 3rd on vault, 1st on bars, 2nd on beam, and 2nd AA.  Taelynn 2nd on vault and 1st on floor.
• P5 Tyro: Erin 1st on beam and 2nd AA.  Grace 1st on bars and 3rd AA.  Jordann G. 2nd on vault and floor.
• P5 Novice: Juliana 2nd on vault, beam, and floor, 1st on bars, and 1st AA.  Shaleisa 3rd on vault and floor, and 2nd on bars.
• P5 Open: Katie 1st on vault, bars, floor, and AA.  Brooklyn 1st on beam and floor.
• Pre Novice Aspire: Shae 1st on vault, bars and AA, and 3rd on beam and floor.
• National Novice: Elizabeth 1st on vault and AA.  Aryana 1st on bars and 3rd AA. Sarah N. 2nd on vault and 2nd on beam.

National Stream Cup Results - January 17-19th (Montreal, QC)

 National Open- Chloe, Abigail, Raquel, and Jordyn competed in the national open category with some very tough competition from the east. Abigail qualified for bar finals and placed 3rd in a field of older very experienced girls. Great job Abi!

Shae competed as a Pre Novice Aspire and placed 5th on vault, 4th on beam, 3rd on bars and 5th AA. Great job Shae!

National Novice- Sarah, Aryana and Elizabeth competed for the first time as national novices against some very tough competition from the east. Aryana was only able to compete 2 events due to a sore ankle. Sarah was the youngest competitor in the field of 27 and qualified in 4th place for finals on beam. Elizabeth placed 5th AA and qualified for finals in vault where she placed 5th and floor where she placed 3rd. Great job

P5s- Our P5s had a great day:) in the tyro
category Grace stuck beam for 4th place and was 7th AA. Erin was 2nd on bars,
3rd on floor and 5th AA. Jordann was 1st on bars, 3rd on beam and 2nd AA!
Juliana competed as a Novice and was 2nd on vault, beam and floor and 3rd AA!
Brooklyn competed as an Open and had a beautiful beam routine placing 2nd there
and 5th on floor!
